TUESDAY 27th December: Beachy sniffs
Cato: Hello Aunties!
Beach walk and pics today, and LOTS of sniffs!
It was really cold and a Mum said her hands were too cold to take pics when we were down on the beach. Lots of big bouncy paws, but Tara did OK. Mum made sure she stayed close, and no one sniffed her knickers at all.
A man larffed at me though. He had two HUGE paws with him, and they were bouncing and romping about under the pier - a bit close to MY widdling post. So I trotted over and raised my leg - as you do - as high as I could, to tell these two paws that the post woz MINE. And the man larffed and said 'What is that? A teddy bear?'
But I didn't care, because those two paws came over and sniffified my widdle and treated me with proper respect. They were quite nice, actually.
Then we went to our favourite French Sausage place.
This is me drinking and showing off my waist (cos Tara says I am fat, but you can see that I am NOT!) and you can also see Tara in her orange bow, squinting at the sun, and waiting for me to finish my drink, so she can have my leftovers.
This is our walk home. It starts with Mum taking boring Mum pics of where she used to work, but then it gets REALLY INTERESTING as I show you all the wonderful sniffs we had. I think everything woz extra specially sniffy today, on account of the cold sun and cos we didnt' have good walks for days. So my sniffer woz working extra specially well.
This is the corner of a place they mend stinky cars. So it was all metal and wee and oil and stuff.
The bricks here are old and Mum says they are porus or pawrus or pawous or something, so they take the sniffs REALLY WELL
and this one was FASCINATING. First I had a bit of a sniff
Then I needed to stand on my back legs to get taller and sniff again
And then I had to move and re-sniff for ages. It was AWESOME
This one woz still wet, and there woz lots off it. Mum says she thinks it was a Great Dane or something, but I am going for a tall Labradoodle. Mum is hopeless at this kind of thing. And Tara just gets bored after about 2 whiffs. Neither of them know how to appreciate.
This one was veeerrrry curious. It woz low down, and a lot of it. Still damp. Maybe a Dachshund.
and then we arrived home.
It was a really fun walk! But I think Mum may be having French hot chocolate a bit too often. She told Dad that come the new year, I need to cut back.
Hope that doesn't mean less walks!!!
