mimi07 19
Izzy seems to have a problem with my oldest granddaughter. Ever since Izzy was just small, she has peed on Cara, when she is the first one to pick her up or pet her. She won't do it to the rest of the grandkids, just her. I have wondered if it is just because she dosen't like her, or if it is a problem with territory. I also have five grandsons that she dosen't seem to have a problem with. There is one more little girl that is 3. They have been together ever since we got Izzy and they play together like two little kids. If anyone has any solutions or suggestions, I would love to hear them. I am sure that Cara would too. :signthankspin:

FairyTail Josette 14
It may be an issue with submissive urination on Izzy's part. Here's a link that discusses some solutions, if that's what is going on here. It's a good idea to have your vet check her out and get her into an obedience class to increase her confidence. http://ezinearticles.com/?8-Ways-to-Stop-S...s&id=532297
Luna 8,676
I agree this sounds like submissive urination. Suzi's link has some good advice.
Seastar 44
Try making sure the dog has already peed before the kid comes over. Have her sit down and have a delicious treat for Izzy in her hand. (disclaimer--I didn't read the link yet)
