Precious'Mom 30
She learned to go to the front door all by herself. Now she just sits there so I tried to teach her to speak which took one day but now she only speaks when she wants me to pick her up. How do I get her to do this at the door. I try it and the door to no avail.
mommy2owen 86
I don't know, but have you ever thought of teaching her to paw at a strip of bells hanging from the door knob? I've seen those and thought they might work since most Shih tzu I've known seem to like to paw at things. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/PoochieBells-Trusted-Training-Doorbells-Classic/dp/B0017RU9SS/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1379707358&sr=8-16&keywords=house+training+bell Or this: http://www.amazon.com/Kelston-Products-LLC-Tell-Bell/dp/B000UC8HUS/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1379707457&sr=8-10&keywords=house+training+bell And here's one more: http://www.amazon.com/Bell-Dog-Housetraining-Hanging-Brass/dp/B009SSGJX2/ref=pd_sbs_petsupplies_3
Precious'Mom 30
I thought of that, but Precious would think it was a toy and be ringing it all the time, lol.
