Sunlite 9,103 Posted August 23 Report Share Posted August 23 It is with heavy heart that our Sunshine left us on Friday. She was having a hard time breathing and apparently was going into heart failure. I spent a little over 3 hrs calling every vet office in the surrounding area for help and not one would give me the time of day. She was approximately about 15, so I wasn't going to put her through any aggressive treatment. I asked for help saying that this was most likely a euthanasia call and was told we can see you on Tuesday or call at 4, fill out a triage form and we'll see if we can fit you in for our emergency hours that start at 2 tomorrow. We ended up calling Buffalo, who said bring her in asap. She passed 15;mins before we got there.... My poor baby girl, I'm sorry I couldn't soothe your pain sooner.
