Tara:

it was a fab walk Aunties!  Except for when Jasmine cheated and won some of the fights.

oh, and she kept rushing up to strangers and sniffing their bottoms!  It was a bit rude!  I mean, everyone likes a good bottom sniff, don’t they?  But Jasmine still thinks she can be a blunder-puppy.  And she can’t.

Mum keeps telling her she is 6 mumffs old now.  And nearly grown up.  And she can’t blunder any more and get away with it.  They get cross.

Paws have started to growl at her when she blunders cos it’s rude, isn’t it?

Mum says she will learn.  But it is taking a long time!

Looks  like you guys had a beautiful day for a walk. Lots of sunshine and grassy stuff. I think you’ve summed up what a puppy does nicely, they have to learn don’t they. 

Laceys good at telling Reuben off but Esme is good at playing with him. Jasmine sounds like she’s learning though. Funny how different they all are. 

Good to see your trails again and hear the stories.  Can't wait for Spring and the flower pictures

Cato says I have to write back cos it is my blog.  Difficult!  Feel good!   Weigh 11 pound things!  Hungry!  Going on hol to see Aunty Holly, Prince and Dolly!  No carpets to widdle on!  Cato and Tara and Mum and Dad going to widdle on carpets by the sea!  I'm not allowed to widdle on carpets!  Dolly is a good fight!  Prince is bigger than me!  Sleep on Auntie Holly's bed!  No widdling there, either!

In case anyone needs a translation:

Our holiday cottage is carpeted, and Jasmine is still not 100% on the toilet training.  She won't ever wee on tiles or laminate, but does like a good pee mat or rug or doormat, or carpet.  The pest.  So she is staying with Auntie Holly, her 8 yr old son, Prince the 4 yr old French Bulldog, and Dolly her littermate in a house with tiled floors.  I think it will be a nonstop party, and if last time is anything to go by, she will come home fitter and ready to sleep for 2 days...

Be interesting to see whether Cato and Tara miss her, or heave a sigh of relief!  I think it will be 50:50

I shall miss her, but I won't miss the worriting about ruining those carpets...

We went over to visit yesterday, to familiarise her with the place again.

OMG!  The rumble began before we got in through the door, lasted a joyous half hour, and we had to carry her out, because she didn't want the fun to end.

Last time we saw Dolly (Jasmine's full sister) she was around half the size of Jasmine, and that light blonde colour that pugs can be.  This time, Dolly has shot up, and is only a fraction shorter than Jasmine, a teensy bit heavier, and nearly platinum blonde.  Good teeth too!  And she sheds.  All the time.  Whereas J's fur is softer, shinier and doesn't seem to shed (so far).  Frankie, the little boy was crying when we left because he thought Jasmine was staying then.  Nope.  We keep her til the last minute.  :)

I bet she whines all there way there in the car, in anticipation...  a week long sibling sleepover.

That is SO wonderful - for her to have such a welcoming and fun place to stay.

I know all about weeing everywhere. Well not me personally. Haha Reuben Bruce still hasn’t quite mastered this toilet malarkey. One day I think we are getting there and then he goes pee everywhere. One day hey!

And apparently one of their brothers might be coming over for a play date too!

It will be utter chaos!  Haha!

How did everything go? 

Fab hol, for everyone.

I think C&T loved the peace and quiet, although Cato doesn't like long car journeys, and asks not to get into the car by the 3rd day.  He follows us out to the car and then sits down, staring down the road, as far from the car as he can get, asking for anything, anything rather than being stuck back in that crate with Tara... ;)

Jasmine had a  great time with her Auntie Holly, sibling Dolly, Prince the French Bulldog and cousin Frankie the little boy.  Can't believe how much she grew in a week!  Very pleased to see us all again after, but gosh are we boooorrrrriiiiinnnnggggg once she has caught up on sleep and is ready to rumble again.  There is no one in our pack who knows how to play properly like they do at Auntie Holly's.  Even Tara has limited capacity for it nowadays.  Besides, Tara is a mouthy wrestler, whereas Jasmine is a Chase Me, Chase Me! kinda girl.  And those two play styles are a little incompatible, since Tara wants to pin Jasmine down, and Jasmine can't understand why Tara isn't running after her... they do get plenty of bouncing interaction though.

We (Jasmine's holiday mum and I) have decided that life is better for everyone if Jasmine and her sister get to exhaust themselves at least once a week.  So we are arranging a few play dates and sleep overs for them.  Mainly at Auntie's house, since I am a little concerned that Cato might get crushed in the stampede if we host it here.

You should see them.  Dolly and Jasmine are a single rolling ball of fur.  And apparently when Simba, their littermatebrother came over for the day, the rolling ball of fur just got bigger, and faster!  Hahaha!

Sounds like major fun was had by all.

Sophie (my Boxer) also likes the game of "chase!"  and doesn't understand why others don't want to be the chaser.
