TUESDAY 1st Mar: Rain and repairs
Mum:
Just one photo today. It is self explanatory.
What you may not be able to see is that it is pouring with rain. Most of the day.
can you SEE how desperate Tara is, to get up that ladder?
I didn't walk them today, because of work/internet/hassle/issues that I had to work on. So Dad took them down to the beach (on foot) in a brief dry spell, and treated himself to a cuppa in the nice beach cafe.
They came home WILDLY excited, and full of stories and thrills and spills (there may have been sausage involved. I can't get a straight answer out of my Beloved, but there is precious little interest in their dinners!) and no pics. I really missed the walk, and now I am missing sharing the photos with you.
Sidney demanded that his window be opened first thing this morning. Then he stared indignantly at the rain, crouched on the window and did not set one foot outside. After about an hour of sulking out of the window, he returned to the Big Bed, snuggled into the messed up duvet and prevented me from making the bed. He is still there.
As far as I know, his only time outside the Bed was when he stalked (you have to imagine this) down the landing, into the bathroom, peed, pooed, and in the process scratted more than half his litter out onto the bathroom floor. Thanks mate. I have since vacuumed it up, changed the contents of the tray, and made it all lovely again. Which will have infuriated him even more. Rain, and enforced tidiness. What an affront, eh?
Thank goodness Dad walked the wee beasties. The forecast is awful, all week. So at least they got two walks so far. Tomorrow may be too wet... but we will cross that bridge when we come to it!
Oh, and since your imaginations are having to work over time today, I will add one more thing - the background thumping and thudding of the washing machine, as it launders Dad's trainers. His poo imprinted trainers. Yup, you have guessed it. When he stepped off the ladder after sorting the shed roof, he stepped right into a carefully positioned little deposit.
Who shall we blame?
