TUESDAY 12th Apr: Rain, no walk and NO MUM!

Tara: So, we knew something woz up when Mum got up early and did the bathroom face clothes fuss. And then both Mum and Dad left us alone! Dad came back, but didn't walk us AT ALL. Cos it rained and rained and rained and rained. 
And we missed Mum, cos she usually reminds Dad it is breakfast time! So it has been really boring.
Then after AGES Dad left us too, and Mum came back.
Not a fun day. Cato just snored it all away, even when i killed toys on his bed.
Cato: Knew it was a No Mum Day as soon as she put the stinky perfume on. She has other stinks. But THAT stink means she is going out.
We tried to keep Dad busy so he didn't miss her too much, but he was doing the Computer Thing again, so that just left lots of sleep. And trips to the wet garden. We have had a few fights, and Tara has pulled the stuffing out of the Ring Toy, but I don't mind. I prefer the flappy ones that hit you round the back of the head when you shake them.
Now Mum is home, she tried to take a few arty photos but the light has gone, so no pics today. We are going to move into the front room soon where we can snuggle properly. And my legs really need a good brush. They have gone all curly. Mum was telling me this yesterday, and spent ages brushing them with the new wood handled brush that Tara hasn't chewed yet. But they are all curly again. So that means I will have to lie on my back on her lap while she brushes every little bit of my underside. Sometimes I fall asleep, although I try and keep one ear open. Tara once sneaked up and grabbed my tail before Mum noticed. I didn't like that. Tara gets jealous, you know, but she doesn't know how much better it is to lie still. She just wriggles during her brush. I think she does it so that Mum laughs at her and tries to blow a raspberry on her tummy, although she pretends to hate it - the raspberry I mean. She loves being brushed almost as much as I do.
