WEDNESDAY 13th Apr: Pigeon Hunt!!!
Tara:
Foxy Park! Yay! With MUM AND Dad! Yay! And sun! And pigeons! And fights!!!
Lots of adventures today!
This is the park when we arrived. All huge and sniffy and sunny and gorgeous! With no other dogs around wanting to sniff my bottom bits.
And this is My Bench, only Dad just walked past! No drink or treats!
This is me bouncing on Cato:
And this is Cato wimping out after.
He was all hot and bothered and panty. And Mum told us both that we are going to get cooler on Friday, cos we are going to AuntyGroomerLesley, for a B*** and a clip. It will be nice not to be so hot, but I am going to ask her not to bath me. Mum need never know.
This was our Pigeon Hunt! It was awesome! I didn't actually see the pigeon, but Cato did, and he set off and cos I am faster I nearly overtook him, but the pigeon disappeared, cos Cato lost it. We will get it next time.
(note from Mum: please carefully observe the photo above. See two highly excited Hunters, dashing to trounce their prey. Yes? Both heading towards the right of the pic. Now search for the pigeon. Found it? It has just taken off from its perch on the fence - the tiny flash of grey/white directly in line with Cato's tail - and is leisurely flapping its way up and off to the left. Cato, the Great Tzu Hunter is leading his Pack in completely the wrong direction )
Tara again: We also met Jack. I didn't used to like Jack. He is part Lhasa, part something, and he is bigger and bossier. And he runs with a rocking motion. Once he cocked his leg on Mum's foot!!!! And he has been too bouncy rough with me when I woz little. But today he was nice. Gentle and sniffy and he came over to see us in a nice approach curve wot didn't make me scared. Maybe I like Jack more now.
Cato: So the pigeon was amamazing, wasn't it? Hope we can get it next time! The rest of the walk was OK. Tara was too bouncy, as usual, and we got a bit hot.
This is me sitting in the shade, asking Mum if she could not walk off please, cos as soon as I try to catch up, Tara attacks.
She has seen me:
Here she comes:
And this is when I was squealing in pain when she bit my ear!
The rest of it is Mum's flower stuff.
White things
red things
Bailey in the mud-puddle with yellow things (I went over to investigate, but Dad had to choose that precise moment to get a treat out, so I didn't get to see it properly. not fair!)
Mum:
So I have to step in at this point. Remember I have been banging on about cherry blossom for what seems like months? And how the display in the park has been the worst I have seen in 3 years of dog walking? Well, turns out I was peaking too early! Look at this. The first blossom of a different variety of cherry:
and now look... This entire avenue is this kind of cherry. Hoping it all blooms together, eh? It is STUNNING when (if) it does...
