MONDAY 6th June: 2nd day of strike action

Cato:

Mum was doing her work thing all day, so we helped Dad clear more of the shed.  That is HARD work!  and it is hot in there.  Tara likes to jump up and go inside, and get in Dad's way, but I prefer to stay outside where it is cooler, and try and trip him up when he steps down.

It was too hot to walk in Mum's lunchtime, so we sat on her on the sofa, and  chilled.

Then we walked in the evening when it was cooller.  Just the usual Field, Cemetery and Slippy Road.  Mum thinks you will get bored of it, but how could you ever get bored of the sniffs?  they are AWESOME!

Mum took some more pictures of the stone bits in the cemetery.  And trees.  She loves summer trees.

This is the other half of the cemetery, across the green fenced road

We have never been in it, but Mum says AuntieJane's Mum is in there.

Tara:

Cato doesn't want me to tell you this, but I am going to!  Cos he has gone on STRIKE two days in a row.  This time it was in the cemetery.  He often tries to go on strike as soon as we go in.  Dad says he doesn't understand why, and will pick him up for a bit and walk with him under his arm.  But Mum is meaner than that, and just drops the lead and walks off!  And Cato is left behind.  I don't like leaving him behind, but he shouldn't go on strike, should he?

Anyway, he waits and waits and waits and then he gets up and RUNS to catch up, and Mum makes a fuss of him and gives him more treats than me so it isn't fair!  I should go on strike, shouldn't I?  Then I would get more treats.

This is me with Dad.  I love my Dad.

The white thing on the ground was a food bag.  I wanted to carry it home, but Dad gave me a treat to drop it.

Mum:

OK, confession time.  I handed Cato's lead to Dad, and I was scrambling all over the front garden of Daisy Villa looking through the front window.  And my goodness that room could be lovely.  all the original plaster coving, ceiling roses and arch through.  Lovely.  They sealed up the fire places though, which is an abomination.

I am not obsessed though.  Oh no.  Not at all.
