Jo-Anne 6,610 Posted January 6, 2017 Report Okay ladies have a mask..at my age it does wonders (sometimes ha ha) its fun and easy to make..and relaxing!!! it is mamma time Image © jazzijava 1. Avocado and Honey Mask for Dry Skin This is a great mask for dry, peeling and scaling skin. The avocado and coconut oil provide replenishing moisture, while the honey helps to heal any chafed or raw areas. Avocado masks are used by celebs like Victoria Beckham and Jessica Biel, and the best part is that you can eat the second half that you don’t use on your face. 1/2 a very ripe avocado 2 tablespoons honey 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil Mash or puree the avocado until it’s smooth and creamy, and then blend in the rest of the ingredients. Apply to your face, avoiding your eyes, and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Wipe your skin clean with a damp, warm cloth, or rinse your face with warm water in the shower. 3 Quote Link to comment

PipsMom 34,988 Posted January 6, 2017 Report I use to use mask all the time but laziness settled in I suppose and haven't done it in awhile. I adore avocado and just know if I got some in I'd be ate all my masks before they hit my face I wonder if the coconut oil would cause me to break out in spots? ...it use to.....Might give this a try just to see, since my skin changed during the dreaded menopause its dry as the Sahara 3 Quote Link to comment

PipsMom 34,988 Posted January 6, 2017 Report Funny you should say Argan Oil........Remember a couple years back when we had Baby on here with his long coated white show dogs? Well he told me to rub a drop between my hands and smooth it in Pips hair when it was so dry back then and it made his hair so lush in no time.....A drop is all you need of that stuff ....so it's still in use but I have taken it from Pip to use as a deep moisturiser right after a hot bath....makes my skin so soft. Love it 2 Quote Link to comment
