Just An Ordinary Day.......

or so it started out so. I went to work just like always and when I arrived, my manager arrived at the same time. Just A Quick Update

Well I've been feeling pretty good although I've been going a little stir crazy, not used to being restricted but so be it . I am allowed to walk on the ball of my foot, just not put any weight on the heel and I can walk as much as I can tolerate, ok, he doesn't know me very well, I did escape yesterday and today for a bit, walked the whole mall yesterday , don't tell anyone, lol. Just A General Update

Well I haven't blogged in a bit so I will make this a quick update. I was almost hit by a pick up truck a week ago Friday by a guy in such a rush, he couldn't wait to back out of his spot I went grocery shopping and had just loaded my groceries into the car, started to put my cart back, and well this idiot starts to back up as I'm crossing. It's Snowing again! Summer Snow That Is!

Now before you think I've lost my mind this is what I refer to as our summer snow. Every year at the beginning of summer the Cottonwood or Poplar Trees (known as both here) bloom and go into seed. It's Good To Be Back In A Routine......

I just have to say how wonderful it feels to get back into a "normal" routine. I have made it to the gym 3 days in a row now. It's amazing how long it takes to build up strength and stamina but losing it happens so quickly. I was a little frustrated the first day back which was Sunday as while I was on the elliptical, my heart rate was climbing and getting too high despite the fact that I didn't feel like I was working that hard. I Did It!

I got a part in the play!!!! I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself! I will be in the play "The Philadelphia Story" , it was made into a movie in 1940. Hooray! No More Stitches!

Well finally it came, no more stitches! I went yesterday morning to have them removed and I'll tell you it couldn't have come quick enough. On Wednesday when I was out and about it seemed my bandage was slipping a bit. I didn't think much of it until I was in the middle of things on Thursday. I realized that I was feeling some discomfort but decided to wait since I'd be going in Friday morning. Holder Posey Finale!

This was yet another awesome experience that I will never forget. I loved every part of it and would recommend community theater to anyone who ever thought of possibly getting involved in theater to try it. Hold On To Your Grocery Shopping Cart!

Well Saturday evening I attended an awards banquet hosted by our local Community Theater Group. They presented me with an award similar to a congeniality award, thought it was so sweet of them . Happy First Day Of Spring!

Crazy Neighbors

Hmm, lets see. Someone started a post about crazy next door neighbors and I thought hmm, I’ve had my fair share of a few and it's probably best to just blog about some of my experiences . Community Activities And Other Random Things

Cinderella Waltz Audition

So last night was the audition for the next play I am interested in and I have to be there at 7pm, no problem. I look up on the map where I have to go and have a pretty good idea. Christmas In Retail

Well for those of you who know me, know that I work in a women's clothing store at the mall. I decided to go back into the world of retail this year after a 5 year hiatus and have enjoyed it quite a bit. Can't Help But To Feel Sad...........

I love trees, flowers, gardens, etc. My neighborhood is fairly new but established, most houses are 15 yrs old or younger and there aren't very many trees around as it had been a farm previously. Camp Open Arms

Well today was time to host Camp Open Arms . Our local Lions Club spends about $1000+, for the one day event providing a full day of food and activities. We had about 150 this year and went through 12 large pizzas, over 300 hot dogs, who knows how many cases of juice/bottled water, ice pops, etc. Only downside today was the temps which stood in the upper 60's with a very strong wind.
