I found a BONE. It is very very big. And it is all MINE.
Mum has been messing with bones up at the top of the kitchen. Something to do with drying them slowly so they don't go too stinky (Mum: using dehydrator and venison ribs) and today, when I was coming in from my mid morning Garden Patrol, I saw it.
In the middle of the kitchen floor.
It is ENORMOUS.
It was difficult to carry.
But I couldn't leave it there for Tara to find.
So I picked it up and ha
Hi Aunties! We went to the Big Lake today, and went Tunneling. We haven't Tunnelled for AGES on account of the mud.
But today Mum followed us down there
This is us showing her the way
and this is the entrance
this is just inside. Mum says the white flowers by the path are called cow parsley.
This is the open bit half way down the tunnel
and the light in the distance is the way out.
Mum always falls behind when she star
It was hothothot so we only went round once, then Mum and AuntieJane had a good sit on a bench, and then we came home.
If you aren't interested in plant stuff, then this will be a really boring blog. Cos Mum and AuntieJane just wanted to pic flowers n stuff.
This is first proper sniff. Lots of paws come into the park by that path, so they like widdling here. It is always lovely and sniffy.
Elderflower sprouty stuff
new growth on the pine
Before I sleep my birthday cake off. I have some news...
We are all super excited as Mummy has just told us she's booked a cottage that allows paws... and we are all going on holiday together...
I hope there's beaches that allow paws to go on them in the summer. We love to paddle in the sea.
Mum is sticking to her diet thing! What's one of those Aunties? She's weighing food out and logging it in my fitness pal. She bought herself a new Fitbit. Guess what Aunties--- mummy is sh
So we went round Bear Woods. I think Tara told you.
But I bet she didn't tell you about the fight, did she?
You see she had been bouncing on me for ages, on account of my tummy slowing me down, and me feeling a bit... um... flopsy.
But that day, I BOUNCED BACK!
See the look in my eye?
She isn't going to win this one by running away! haha!
This was Round 2
She tried to circle round, but I was ready!
So there was no blogging for AGES, on account of Cato being all wimpy in the tummy, and me and Dad going out walking by ourselves. I don't really like it when Cato doesn't come with us. It isn't the same. I keep looking round for him, and he isn't there. Dad didn't take any pics. And then it rained for days! That was REALLY boring.
But then one day Me and Mum and Dad and Cato all went for a Pack Walk in Bear Woods. Dad said things like 'It'll be all muddy soggy.' and 'If i
It's was our 3rd birthday on Friday. Mummy was at work for half day. Our brother was at school all day and Daddy's been working a lot lately.
We are having our party today because Daddy's been very busy at work. He has gone in this morning but we're waiting to undo our presents when he returns home.
Mummy took some photos of us this morning. She knows we won't sit still long enough when Daddy gets home.
Mmmmmm that cake looks yummy! Can we please have a little bit?
So I will tell you all about our second lake walk, in the sun and wind and the woods, and then I will tell you about my tummy. Cos that is far more important. And it is more important that Tara's silly running off and nearly getting lost and worrying G&G!
This is my Molehill Hunting Field.
This is me keeping an eye out for moles!
Can you see how my tummy is a bit, um, bloaty?
Then we did the Bluebell Wood walk, which was all sniffy and nice.
Finally! Mum has catcheded up enough blog for me to tell you about my Big Adventure! I woz AWESOME!!!
And there aren't any pics cos Mum and the camera were left at home.
So, first off, Mum and Grandma and Grandad had this big boring conversation, all about walks, and were there poo bags, and did G&G have water, and yawn stuff like that. I wozn't listening, cos Grandad had the leads in his hand and my ears switch off then.
Then it got really exciting, with leads a
When we go and stay with G&G I get to have a whole new big garden, and to supervise Grandad when he does plant stuff. Although sometimes he doesn't do stuff like he should.
Mum says I shouldn't be so bossy. But it is hard not to be when I see Grandad doing stuff that is wrong.
This is him on the bald bit. It is good for peeing and pooing, but he is fussing with it, and keeps digging holes and filling them with plants. I don't mind the holes, but why does he want to
Phew! I finally got Mum to sit down and blogg. It is hard work! I'm going to sit on her feet so she can't escape.
This is from AGES ago when we were at Grandma and Grandad's. We left Dad behind, which was very worrying. And we sat in the car for agesandages, and then we arrived! And it was lovely to see G&G, and have cuddles and tug of war and check the garden and the fields and the lake were OK. Cos, you know, I hadn't been there for ages to make sure.
This is ou
Aunties it was My birthday this weekend and what a fun time I had! I want to share it with you but I gotta get some news outta the way first or it won't make any sense!
well ya know I have a friend and to you her name is Piper but it wasn't to her... nope she just ignored it! Mommy and daddy kept tryin but guess she didn't like the name. I mean she came with it so whoda thunk? Anyway we had to find a new name-- I call her Bozo! she likes it but mommy said we couldn't name her that, it wasn'
This is Foxy park in the sun. The daffydillies are all over though.
Tara saw William again. We have seen William a lot lately, haven't we? She is shaking her head here. I spect she thinks he like it, or something. She is very silly.
this is a Rowan tree with a Rowan flower thing.
and this is Jack. He is much nicer now. Although his Dad can't get him to chase balls any more. He used to. We used to watch. But now he doesn't. Mum thinks
Cato: So Mum hasn't been blogging like she said she would, has she? So I told her off. She still needs to catch up lots and lots of adventures. Including my terrible tum!!!
But she says 'I can't blog every day, Cato. No time. But I am going to try and blog when I can. And sometimes that means we may be able to do more than one blog in a day. So that means we will catch up.'
That just sounds like Mum is being tricksy, doesn't it? I think she should bloggify every da
I remember this one, cos of my amazing mountaining see!:
Mum had cut my piggy tails. cos she said they were too long. And I was back to a boring pony. In purple. And we woz on North Beach cos Mum felt bad about me not being able to mountain on the new groiny bit on the main beach.
Cato didn't like the squishy seaweed stuff under his toeses. But I ran backwards and forwards and bounced on him til he chased me. Haha!
There were more interesting s
Me again. This is a boring one. We went for a street walk, which is sniffy but a bit... um... well, we can't bounce, can we? And then we can't go on the beach any more, cos of tourists. Mum says. Cos tourists don't like paws having fun on the beach. So we did Promendadoing on the the Promendado. And there were stinky flowers.
and Mum says that she has lived here for ever and ever and ever (Mum: 8 years) and never knew that they put the tide times on this red
I have to bloggify. We (Mum and me) just showed the pics to Tara, and she can't remember anything about this day, except that she got to squeak at William again. She is completely dooolally over William. That is a Mum word. It means silly.
It was very bright and sunny and green. And there were lots of fried egg plants poking up through the grass.
I would have preferred a real fried egg.
This is Tara doing her sniff thing.
This is me
James and I are a little gutted today..
we spent most of yesterday in the garden keeping an eye on two sparrow fledglings that had left the nest , but couldn't fly. We watched the paws while they was in the garden. ( not sure if you remember last year Donte caught a fledgling in his mouth and I had to prize it out. It died later.. We encouraged the fledglings to hide under the rhubarb in a safe area of the garden. Mum and dad sparrow kept feeding them throughout the day.
i wanted to share some stuff with you since today Piper has been here 2 weeks! Yeah Really! Well anyway, it's been cold here and raining and ya know Piper doesn't have a lot of hair grown back yet... soooo I tried to lend her a little hoodie to wear to stay warm...
