Mum had to go and do Work Stuff today, so we went to visit AuntieDogsitter.
We had two walks, and breakfast and foot baths and snuggles. It was nice. Tara would have liked it more if the HUGE great brown paw hadn't been there, but he was. And she survived.
This is our walk:

See Tara mountaineering?
Tara:
Yay! My turn today. And I get the MUD!!!
First we had to go to the dump and get rid of lots of cardboard and stuff. We were stuck in our horrible crate in the backseat, but it woz OK cos Dad sat in the back with us, cos the front seat had all cardboard in it. That was fun. I tried to lick him through the crate. hahaha! The dump sniffs are AWESOME. But we weren't let out to sniff them properly. Spoilsports.
This is our first proper sniff when we got out of the car at
Cato:
What a weird walk! I mean, it was fun. But Dad took us round twice! On the path! instead of once off the path. Very weird. This is first sniff:
We took Dad, cos MrWeatherman said it would rain at lunchtime, when Mum could come with us. So she and Dad had a thunk and decided that an early morning walk, with just Dad would be better. So it was a Dad Walk, which is fun, but it wasn't a Pack Walk, which is funner. And we always have to worry about Dad getting lost, don
Mum:
I usually clip the toenails every couple of weeks between groomings. Or rather, I check them then, and only cut them if I feel the need.
Well, there has been 'a need' for a week or so, and I have been avoiding it, because none of us exactly enjoy the experience. Tara seems to have ticklish back paws. Cato has had the quick nipped a couple of times by the groomer, and he isn't exactly a stoic little soul. So now he gets into a tizz whenever I approach with the clippers...
Tara:
Mum just found this pic on her phone and said I could do a Blog Special, coz I am Special.
The pic is from AGES ago. Like, weeks and weeks and weeks ago (Mum: 2 weeks, actually) when we had some SNOW. This is the only snow we have had in forever, so it woz really exciting. You can see Dad's great big Dad foots prints. And you can see Cato's footprints. But you can't see mine! Haha! Cos I wouldn't go outside, even though I was busting for a wee. It woz all cold and we
Tara:
Mum says that all these on-lead road walks we are having is doing wonders for our manners. And she says that we obviously need more regular road walks instead of hooliganning in the park. Not fair!!!
So today we were dragged to the boring hot choc place, and the boring cider place, and then we came home! No grass. No bouncing. No fun!
This is the French Hot Choc place. It woz too full inside, so we sat outside again. There is more to sniff outside.
See? I
Cato:
Hello aunties. I have to blog this, cos Tara didn't like the castle. She says that Dad kept wandering off, up stairs and stuff and leaving her with me and Mum, and she was all squeaky and whiney.
So I get to blog
We had a nice short car journey, which was nice. You can have too much of cars, can't you? Even when you have your own crate and bed.
And then a bit of a walk. Very sniffy. Old places are lovely and sniffy.
This is just inside the gatehouse. Gatehou
Tara:
So Mum and Dad wanted to give me a nice big mountain walk after we had a wet and windy day, and didn't walk AT ALL. They said that I NEEDED it, and Mum said that if I didn't get a walk then she was going to spend the night in the hot tub, cos I was all Ninja and Amazing and a Little Madam. Which is good, isn't it? Although I didn't want Mum to go to sleep in all that splashy stuff, so it was good we had a walk, wozn't it?
Anyway, there are lots of pics, so this is going to be

These are lllllamas. They were living over the wall from Mum's splashy pool.
and this was the view from our window. The big window that we could see out of cos it goes down to the floor.
and this was Tara's bench. And my widdle tree.
This was when it had just started snowing on the Snow Day. Looking out through our window.
and this is looking out through the door.
this is when I needed a wee, and Dad pushed the snowdrift away so I
Tara:
I remember this one, cos of my amazing mountaining see!:
Mum had cut my piggy tails. cos she said they were too long. And I was back to a boring pony. In purple. And we woz on North Beach cos Mum felt bad about me not being able to mountain on the new groiny bit on the main beach.
Cato didn't like the squishy seaweed stuff under his toeses. But I ran backwards and forwards and bounced on him til he chased me. Haha!
There were more interesting s
Tara:
Finally! Mum has catcheded up enough blog for me to tell you about my Big Adventure! I woz AWESOME!!!
And there aren't any pics cos Mum and the camera were left at home.
So, first off, Mum and Grandma and Grandad had this big boring conversation, all about walks, and were there poo bags, and did G&G have water, and yawn stuff like that. I wozn't listening, cos Grandad had the leads in his hand and my ears switch off then.
Then it got really exciting, with leads a
Cato:
So we went round Bear Woods. I think Tara told you.
But I bet she didn't tell you about the fight, did she?
She wouldn't!
You see she had been bouncing on me for ages, on account of my tummy slowing me down, and me feeling a bit... um... flopsy.
But that day, I BOUNCED BACK!
See the look in my eye?
She isn't going to win this one by running away! haha!
This was Round 2
She tried to circle round, but I was ready!
Haha!
Tara:
Haha! Hello Aunties!
We went to the sea, and it woz hot, and I bounced on Cato. Look!
Dad wozn't with us, so I had to show Cato how to mountaineer, like Dad shows me.
and we went all along this mountain range. Cato just followed me, so I woz the Trek Leader. Mum says.
She also said that if I went and bothered that family who were pickernickering (see the man in the red shirt, sitting with his family all eating interesting stuff) then she would die of
Cato:
Mum had important Mum Stuff to do, so we all went as a Pack and stayed in a hotel. I had been there before, when I was very little, but I still didn't like it very much. It is always very stressful when Mum and Dad put all their bags by the front door, and I have to go and sit with them, and worry in case they forget me. I mean, I know that Mum and Dad wouldn't ever forget me. I know that. But I still worry.
This is our hotel. There weren't any signs up about paws keeping h
Cato:
Oooh it was hot. Mum said only once round the lake today on account of the hotness, but in the end I didn't want to go round again. It was hothothot.
this is the pink Vetch climbing up the post
don't know wot those purple things are, but Mum says they are special and wild and pretty.
It was windy! Can you see the wind doing weird stuff to the water round the island?
Look! There are new swan pups!
Mum said 'Now Cato, behave yours
Tara:
My turn! I can tell you lotsandlots about our adventures and sniffs and EVERYTHING.
We went to this Cotehele place by boring car, with Mum and Dad squeaking about SatNav stuff. Yawn. But it was fun when we got there!
There was some sign up saying we had to keep them on leads in the Formal Gardens or something. But as soon as we got out of sight of everyone we let them off the lead. I figured Dad couldn't get lost if I woz with him, so he would be safe.
This w
Tara:
Hello Aunties!
We had a FAB walk yesterday. We only went out to do an Autumn Photo Shoot for me, so I can be a Supermodel again, and look fab. Mum did my hair up in a new style and everything.
Cato larffed at me and said that Carrera rocks this look much better than me. But he is just jealous. Cato I mean, not Carrera.
Can you see my hair?
This is when we were catching up with Mum. Cato was doing a silly walk at the time, and worrying Mum in case his w
Cato:
Hello Aunties. This blog is me cos Tara can't remember so far back. I can remember cos these pics were taken the day that my wonky leg was unwonked. So I will never ever ever forget. We went out for a pic walk in Grandad's Garden just before I met nice MrMcT and he unwonked me.
Last time we went to stay with Grandad and Grandma, the garden looked very different. There was a whole new flowerbed wot was all bare earth which is good for widdling and scratting, cos Grandad had o
Tara:
So, this walk happened AGES AGO, but I was too busy being me and sleeping and stuff to blog it before now. I mean, we have been on holiday and stuff, and I want to tell you all about that, but Mum says I have to tell you about our stormy walk first. Booorrrriiiingggg! But I am going to, cos I am a good girl.
Mum says she put the stormy skypics up already, so I just need to tell you about my benches and my mud and my mountains.
This is the firstest mountain of the day. Ca
Tara:
Hi Aunties!!!! We have been off doing interesting stuff and sleeping and eating and everything, so we've been far too busy to blog.
But today we only had a visit to Mam (that is Dad's Mum) and a walk round the park, so I get to blog for you and show AuntieCrystal flowers.
Did we tell you that Pop died? It happened in a hospital near Christmas. We are all sad about it. He used to mess up my sprouts and call me a boy, but I did love him. Mam is sad about it too. So we g
Hello Aunties,
Just thought I would let you know about my important daily duties that I do daily for the pack and around the house.
They are very important. Did I tell you that? Cos they are.
This is what I do:
morning Garden Patrol, including side passage and rear gate. Poo. Wee.
collecting post, parcels and leaflets. I don’t actually collect them. I Alert Mum and then we go and collect the stuff together from the porch.

Cato:
Hello Aunties. Sorry I haven't been blogging much. It is cos of my tail. It isn't right. It is like a puppy tail. And I am not a puppy, am I? I am an Important Person in the Pack. A Scout and a Hunter, and I shouldn't have a puppy tail. I am second in charge after Mum, and above Tara. But I have a silly little puppy tail at the moment. It is very sad and it gets me down a bit.
That and the horrible harness.
So Mum and Dad decided to take me on holiday to s
Tara:
We got up really early, and I was sleepy, but Mum and Dad carried us outside, cos they thought we might wee on one of the corners in the hotel, if we walked. But there was a nice patch of grass outside. Then we went back to bed for a bit while they did bathroom stuff. When they went to breakfast, I whined. I was still whining when they got back. But I might have stopped in the middle. We had raw beef mince for breakfast, and they didn't save us any sausages.
