Cato:
LOOK! Isn't this THE BEST EVER??? Someone dug this for us, and there is a worm in the bottom.
It was a slow deep sniff. I had to get right in there. And stay there. Mum and Dad walked off cos they are disabled in the nose department. And Tara walked off because she isn't capable of appreciating. But I would have stayed there FOR EVER if Mum hadn't kept calling me
We got some other sniffs on the way round the lake though. But none of them were as... as... importa
Cato: Oh aunties, can you make it stop sleeting? We haven't had a walk again today! It was sunny for tiny bit of the morning, and then it just got worse and worse. Even Tara is getting used to just sleeping! And Mum keeps disapearing into the hot splash pool. All we can do is bounce a bit together, and bounce a bit with Mum or Dad when they aren't doing other stuff.
It isn't much of a life!
Could we come and stay (Mum and Dad too) somewhere nice and warm and dry, with some of you
Cato:
So we went to Foxy Park today, and it was really good. Lots and lots of sniffs, and Tara wasn't too unbearable. And I met Jess again. I like her.
Anyway, this is wot happened:
This was meeting a nice cockerpoo. She was very friendly, and she wanted to play, but her Mum was in a hurry.
and this was Jess. I remember Jess being nice to me when I was as small as a guineapig and the park was so scary I used to hide under Mum's skirt.
There were too many p
Mum:
Lots of work on at the moment, plus the hot tub, of course. So I didn't get time to take yesterday's Blog dictation from the Hounds.
Actually, they had forgotten, so I popped their comments in for yesterday, and today is ALL MINE, and I can show you a few photos that I couldn't fit in yesterday from Foxy Park.
Hope you like them.

We woz still tired today. Dad has been sorting out the garden shed this morning. So we helped, but even that woz tiring. So Mum said only a little walk at lunchtime. It was street stuff. Into town to get stuff for Dad's lunch cos he didn't want stuff from the fridge. Wish we were allowed to say that! We could go into town and get steak every day, couldn't we?
Anyway, this is the road into town and as you can see, Tara is already trying to pull Dad around. While I am not.
Cato:
Mum says to tell you that Summer has arrived. Not really sure wot she means, but she says the park felt different today. Like all the spring flowery stuff was over, and now there is the early summer lull before things like buddleia kick in.
It didn't SMELL any different!
Anyway, here is wot happened
There was a nasty crow-pigeon, but we ignored it, cos it is scary
This is Bruno, he has put a bit of weight back on, and his Dad has been told off by the vet b
Cato:
After a lot of discussion, we decided to walk Dad at Foxy today. He knows the way around, so can't get lost, and it means we don't have to manage him on the pavement at all. Hot in the car though!
Mum says you won't recognise the park - not a flower in sight. Says that Dad doesn't see flowers. And has had to be trained to give them too.
It was lovely and sniffy today. These are something called Tennis Courts. Something to do with Wimbledon. People only use them for do
They aren't interested in this, so I can put as many flowers in as I like.
These are my glorious Oriental Poppies, which came into bloom when I was away last weekend. I have counted over 50 buds.
These are my new rose. Beautifully faded to salmon.
All the rest of the pics are from today at Town Park, which should really be renamed Flowery Park, shouldn't it?
Bearded Irises.

More of this blue stuff - still don't know what it is, but bees LOVE it!
I have been walking past this sign for a couple of years, and today I actually read it! Hahahaha! Turns out it lists the rose varieties by name.
The scents are exquisite, especially when the sun comes out...
Tara:
I can swim!! I fell in the lake!!! It was ACE!!! And I shook and shook and shook and bounced and bounced and bounced. Cato didn't fall in. I am much better swimmer than Cato. And my sprouts enjoyed the swim too!
Look. this is where I fell jumped dived in! Look!
We were both standing on the rocky bits at the edge of the water, and I was being cute and interesting, and Cato was being thirsty. And then he pushed me! Or maybe my foots slipped. Or maybe I did a swan
Tara:
Mum forgot to do my hair today! Hahaha! She said I looked like a hooligan. And Dad says I look like Einstein. Whoever that is.
I think I look like a PIRATE, cos my hair covers my eye like an eyepatch. But can you tell Mum to do my hair properly tomorrow? I like my sprouts.
We walked with Dad after Mum's boring work finished, but it was still hot. Cato wimped out. And he went on strike in the cemetery AGAIN.
See?
Did you see him? He is that tiny d
Cato:
Ooooh it was so nice. The last few days have been soooooooo boring. But Dad took us to Foxy, in the shade, before it got too hot, and we could run and run and run.
Dad is my hero. He got up early to take us for a walk. AND he got up at very early to take me down for a wee. I love him.
This is me running. Tara says I look silly. But not nearly as silly as she does. Cos Dad took us out before Mum had time to brush out her bedhead and put in a Thing. You know, a PINK t
Tara:
No walks! Too hot! Hate it!
Cato is either sleeping or chewing one of MY pigs ears. Mum is too hot to snuggle. Dad is doing Windows 10 installation stuff.
Will we ever walk again?
They won't let me bark in the garden! They won't let me go for a walk! Python wrestling is boring!
and there aren't any killer attack monster plastic bags to find!
Cato:
So Mum remembered the Tunnel, wot AuntieCrystal wanted to see. And we wanted to see it too. So Mum and Dad came with us to the big park with the lake, and we went and found the Tunnel entrance. It was quite difficult, cos it was so overgrown, but I found it - see?
Follow me!
It was very cool and sniffy and damp. Dad said there would be mud.
and there woz!!!
this bit was fun. We had a fight.
it woz a very looooon
Cato: We were at the Big Lake again today, and did the tunnel. Mud said it might be the least muddy EVER after all the sun, and she woz right!
It looks like mud, but really it is just hard dry earthy stuff now. A bit disappointing, really. Dad didn't wobble and slide at all!
We had a good fight half way along the tunnel. Tara picked the same spot for a rumble last time, too.
Can you see Dad? he woz slinking off into the shadows, showing Tara some ninja techniq
Mum:
Town Park today. Haven't been there in ages, so it was lovely to see the flowers still in bloom. There was even a buddleia still going strong - but it was quite close to the lake, so I think it must get a lot more water than the plants in Foxy Park.
Aren't these lovely? So bright.
White hydrangea
Sorry about the focus on a couple of these. I was using the iphone again, and don't have a zoom or focus thingy.
Tara:
All of us together. They are the bestest walks, aren't they? Even when Cato slows us down. I am doing my athleticals whenever I can, you know. Cos our holiday is only a few sleeps away, and I need to get ready to climb mountains and stuff (Mum: 3 weeks to holiday. can't wait!).
So this is me on one of my benches.
And this is me hunting in a flowerbed. Dad told me off. But it was VERY sniffy.
This is after my hunt. Doesn't my bow look good?
Cato:
Yesterday we went for lunch with Mum and Dad to the sausage place. It was a working day for Mum so we had to rush. Mum had boring fish, and Dad had boring eggs, so Dad asked the nice lady for a sausage for us! We like the nice sausage lady. She brought us our sausage all chopped up on a little plate specially for us!
We like the sausage cafe and the sausage lady!!!
Mum would have taken a pic of our sausage, only she had been so busy with work, and we were in such a rush
Cato:
Mum has been watching me for my Autumn Snuffles. And she thought this morning that they might have arrived. So today I had my special Snuffle Tablet (in cheese!!!) before our walk, and I haven't been snuffling at all. Not sure why Tara had cheese too though. She doesn't get snuffles, so why does she get cheese?
Anyway it was a great walk. See:
This is my favourite poo spot. I didn't need to today. But I always think about it.
Tara wanted us to stop at this
Cato:
Oh Aunties, I nearly lost Mum! It was terrible! But she found me. So it was OK.
I was off snuffling and exploring, and I know the way, so I might have gone a bit ahead.
But she and Tara went down the tunnel, and I didn't see, cos I was sniffing amazing sniffs.
And I know that Mum called me, cos she always does. But I kind of didn't hear.
So when I looked up and didn't see them, I ran on, cos I thought I had got left behind. Only when I got ro
Tara:
We had a lovely walk today. With AuntieSue. And I got to sit on her lap! And I love her.
Cato was all pushy and wanting attention, see?
But look how much I love her! I love her more than he does!
And isn't my bow pretty?
Mum was doing lots of yellow tree stuff as we walked round. Not interesting.
This is me asking for AuntieSue and Mum to sit down. They didn't. I really like this bench. I jump up on it every time we go past. Doing
Tara:
Here I am in my RED jumper. I look good, don't I? With my RED bow and all. I look good enough to, I dunno, meet the paw of my dreamz, if he happened along...
Although it woz a bit chilly and damp and muddy, and I did bounce on Cato a bit. Which woz great fun, but may have made my knickers a bit wet.
But then, HE won't mind soggy knickers...
And then...
Look!
Across the romantic forest floor... the paw of my dreamz!!!! William!!!!!!
(and I kn
Cato:
Yesterday Mum had to work through her walk-time so we couldn't show her all the new sniffs. And then Mum and Dad went out for dinner! And didn't take us with them! Even though they went to the Steak Place where we had Megasaurus Steak last time! We had to be shut in the front room with our chews, knowing they were Steaking!
But then when they came back, they had brought home some of the Megasaurus that they had hunted, and it was all OK.
Then today, we all set out
Cato: It was a really cold day, and Mum and Dad decided that me and Tara needed sausages! So we went and sausaged and then had a promenade walk. It was very short, on account of it being very cold and blowy, and us not having coats, and Tara doing a shivery thing.
Don't we look COLD?
Mum says it was lunchtime, but you can see how low the sun is, and how blueblueblue the sky is.
Tara:
Look! That is me and Dad and Cato. I am sniffing the lamppost an
