Sun 9th April: Foxy and AuntieJane

Tara: Mum did me pigtails today.  I look supercool and Ninjaey.  And Mum says that me and Lacey are going to skool at St Trinians. This is me before I Ninjaed. And this is me after. It woz a bit hot.  Mum says we are having our winter coats off, so I can be cool.  I think she means less panty, cos I am always cool, aren't I? I got some little matts in my armpit yesterday.  Ow!  Mum said I was too delicate a pwincess to have them brushed out, so she got the skis

Sun 4th Jun: Foxy florals

Tara: Hi Aunties.  This is me standing on Cato, showing him who is boss.  (that's me.  being boss.  cos I'm on top) Aren't I awesomely Ninja? and this is after.  See how I am in front?  and all Bossy? but then he wants to have another go.  Like he actually thinks he stands a chance! Mum says you have to have a look at all these weeds.  Cos she says it just goes to show (something or other really dull MumInGardeningMode. Yawn). Cato used to do all

Sun 30th April: Foxy in the sun

Hello Auntiees! This is Foxy park in the sun.  The daffydillies are all over though. Tara saw William again.  We have seen William a lot lately, haven't we?  She is shaking her head here.  I spect she thinks he like it, or something.  She is very silly. this is a Rowan tree with a Rowan flower thing. and this is Jack.  He is much nicer now.  Although his Dad can't get him to chase balls any more.  He used to.  We used to watch.  But now he doesn't.  Mum thinks

Sun 29th Jan: Yay! Town Park!

Tara: Aunties, I got to BOUNCE!   It has been terrible boring without bouncing.  But today I bounced and bounced! So, where shall we go?  Which way? This way!  Oi! Wait for me!  Cato went to see his friend Derek in the Floral Hall (even though he is supposed to have Mum or Dad on a lead if he goes in there.  He didn't wait.)  And Derek has retired now, so he doesn't work there any more. They had put lots of mulchy stuff on the ground around the plants

Sun 28th May: Foxy in the sun!

Tara: This is me looking beautiful.  Mum says. I had my pink bows in specially, in case I saw William.  And look, here he is.  I am playing it cool, and not asking him to chase me. This is what Cato does when he thinks we are going back to the car and he wants a longer walk. and this is the Rowan sprout that Mum has been piccing for you.  She says that each of those little blobble things are going to be big fat orange red berries when the weather gets all cold

Sun 26th Mar to Sun 2nd Apr: Foxy

Cato: We went to Foxy Park lots and lots this week.  It was on account of meeting AuntieJane, and traffic stuff stopping us from going to the Big Lake, and that kind of thing.  I didn't mind, but Tara whinged about not enough mountains.   Or something. So Mum has asked me to do something special and new and REALLY DIFFICULT and tell you about all our walks alltogether.  She says she will help, if I get stuck. This is the daffydillys # I love the sniff of daffydillys.  It

Sun 23rd Apr: More pink stuff and lots of friends

Cato: I have to bloggify.  We (Mum and me) just showed the pics to Tara, and she can't remember anything about this day, except that she got to squeak at William again.  She is completely dooolally over William.  That is a Mum word.  It means silly. It was very bright and sunny and green.  And there were lots of fried egg plants poking up through the grass. I would have preferred a real fried egg.   This is Tara doing her sniff thing. This is me

Sun 21st Jan: Foxy ramble

Cato: This was my first walk after my tummy.  Mum said we would take it gently, and stop if I felt wobbly, and she would carry me if I got tired. Only Tara didn't listen.  Tara never listens.  And she bounced and bounced and bounced!  In the end Mum shouted at her and did Calming Signal stuff, and it was OK.  I didn't really mind.  It is just that she never knows when to stop, does she? That is Sheba The Third.  We haven't seen her for AGES.  Sheba's Dad keeps her on the lead all

Sun 16th Apr: Bunni Day! Pink stuff! AuntieJane!

Cato:  This is me and AuntieJane and all the pink stuff.  She said Mum could take the pic and show all of you.  I was supposed to be with AuntieJane in the shot, but I forgot and went and sniffed something. Cos it was BunniDay, and cos the sun was out, there were lots and lots and lots of paws around.  Mum made muttery noises about why do we only see people when it is sunny?  Don't they walk their dogs the rest of the year?  But I just liked meeting people and making new friends.    Th

Sun 14th May: Foxy with AuntieJane

Cato: It was hothothot so we only went round once, then Mum and AuntieJane had a good sit on a bench, and then we came home.   If you aren't interested in plant stuff, then this will be a really boring blog.  Cos Mum and AuntieJane just wanted to pic flowers n stuff.   This is first proper sniff.  Lots of paws come into the park by that path, so they like widdling here.  It is always lovely and sniffy. Elderflower sprouty stuff new growth on the pine

Sun 12th Nov 17: Storm incoming!

Tara: It was FAB!!!! We went out to the sausage place with Mum and Dad.  It woz windy and cold and blue sky sunny and sniffy and fun.  The wind swirled around my knickers and I was all bouncy and hoppy, and nearly tripped Mum up.  And we were looking for cats EVERYWHERE!!! The floor is always too clean! But then when we had sat under the table for AGES and had our water and our treats and our sausages, we went outside and look! The sun had disappeared! T

Sun 12th Feb: It stopped raining. For an hour.

Cato: Aunties, it was wonderful.  Mum and Dad had been watching the rain in the garden.  And when it stopped, we all got our leads and stuff and went out the front.  And guess what!  It had stopped there too. So we went down the street.  We didn't go in the car, cos nasty MrWeather tricked us with that one yesterday.  So we stayed out on the street where it was dry.  I bet if we had gone in the car, it would have been raining when we got out!  There were lotsandlotsandlots of sniffs.

Sun 10th Jun: Tara's Foxifying

Tara: Hello Aunties.  I'm going to tell you all about my Foxy Walk cos it was exciting, and Cato is asleep, so I get to bloggify!  Haha! So, these first pics are all slobbery.  That's cos I licked the camera while Mum was lifting me out of the car, haha! and she didn't realise until she had taken some pics.  She huffed about it, but AuntieJane thought it woz very funny.  So did I! Cameras don't taste of much. This is AuntieJane and Cookie.  Cookie is very old and has trembly

Stormy Skies

Mum: Today's walk was a beach walk. I will let Tara tell you all about it later, but I just wanted to post a few of the sky pics I took because they are pretty amazing. We set off in the car to a blue sky and high white clouds, but in the 10 minutes it took to drive to the beach the dark rainclouds were rolling in... It was a proper bank of cloud, carrying rain (but not a downpour).  Hardly more than a shower. And then it rolled away again. l

Stinky fish eggy stuff

Cato: Mum just gave us stinky black fish egg stuff. I didn't like it. Tara didn't like it either. It was sniffy and fishy and bobbley.  And Mum said we could only have teensy little bits, on account of it being very posh and Russian and shiny and stinky.  She said it was something called Lumpfish Caviar wot she found in a corner of the Human Food Shop, and since she had never ever ever ever tasted Caviar Stuff before, she got some. She needn't have bothered. Dad did

Spa Day Worries

Cato: Aunties i am worried. i heard Mum and Dad talking about it.  They said the we are due those horrible stinky flea drops and then they said they would wait til after our Spa Day!  Not today.  And not when we wake up. But the one after that. isn't that AWFUL? there will be Mum going away.  And horrible wet stuff bath stinky bubbles.  And hot blowy noisy air stuff.  And those horrible buzzy bitey clippy things. Tara doen't know.  Cos she was chewing a pigs ea

Since we got home from G&G's

Cato: First we had to go and check out the beach and the promenade.  Cos you never know what might have happened when we weren't there to make it all be OK. Everything was still where it should be.  Including our Sausage Place  and everything sniffed OK   Tara: So then we went to Foxy Park to see if it was still OK there too... (after we had a spa day, and got bald.  except for my topknot, which I kept.  But Mum says it doesn't look like a to

Scrambled egg!

Tara: We took Mum and Dad out for breakfast!  To our paw place that does proper food for us. look!  This is our scrambled eggses. Mum kept our bowls up on the table for AGES while she took pics cos she said our eggses were too hot hot hot.  It was awful having to wait. Mum squished them about in the bowl to make the cool down faster cos she said my whining was embarrassing.  Haha!  I was HUNGRY!!! we got a WHOLE egg each!  Yum!!! we want to go there again toda

SATURDAY: Buck Beck and Golf

Tara: We had an early start today!  Mum let us up on the Big Bed REALLY EARLY! (Mum: 6.30am) and then we snuggled til late.  It was GREAT!!!. Then we all got up and widdled and stuff and went out for a walk.  IT started off really boring, and we thought it would be the same as yesterday  but then it got really interesting!  Too interesting for me to bounce on Cato much! This is me looking interested in Truffle Hound. I will let Cato tell you the rest, cos he likes tellin

SATURDAY 9th Apr: Sausage Promenade

Tara:    So Mum has stopped being boring and came with us for a walk.  Sausages first: Then walking on the Prommy thing, cos we aren't allowed on the beach any more.  Til it gets cold.  But there were lots of interesting sniffs and stuff, and Mum and Dad were UNFAIR cos they kept pulling me away from chips and bits of bun and icecream dribbles and all sorts of good stuff.  This is me finding a chip. And we met Nell.  Mum and Dad went all coo-ey and goo-ey and funny and said s

SATURDAY 8th October: Town roses. Again.

Cato: Mum says some of you have horrible stormy weather at the moment, and we are veryveryvery lucky to have sun and a park to walk in.  So we are sending you all these boring flower pics to cheer you up, if you have storms.  Mum says she can't send you actual sniffy roses, so this is the next best thing. We went to Town Park, and obviously, this is the first and deepest and bestest sniff!  You can have all the sun and flowers.  We will keep the sniffs. This one was as we wa

SATURDAY 6th May: Poor Dad

Tara:.  Oh Aunties! My poor Dad is ill!   I am so worried about him!  He was up and down all night making stinky bathrooms and now he is just lying in bed.  I have tried cheering him up with bouncing and licking and I have brought him toys, but he just wants to sleep. Mum says I mustn't bounce any more or I will have to go downstairs.  So I am trying.  See?   But it is HARD.  I am sure he just needs to play and bounce for a bit. mum says that it is the stuff he got for lunch

SATURDAY 6th June: Swans, geese and AuntieSue

Cato: Today was a double adventure!  We met swans AND saw AuntieSue again.  AuntieSue is really snuggly, and is MUCH kinder than Mum.  Mum wouldn't pick me up when I got tired, but I bet I could have got AuntieSue to do it.  If Mum hadn't been there.   But at least it was nice and cool again. We had the swan adventure first, before AuntieSue arrived.  First we had an interesting sniff down by the water. Then Tara spotted a new green bit that we have never explored before.

SATURDAY 6th Feb: 1st Great Return Journey

Tara: We got up really early, and I was sleepy, but Mum and Dad carried us outside, cos they thought we might wee on one of the corners in the hotel, if we walked.  But there was a nice patch of grass outside.  Then we went back to bed for a bit while they did bathroom stuff.  When they went to breakfast, I whined.  I was still whining when they got back.  But I might have stopped in the middle.  We had raw beef mince for breakfast, and they didn't save us any sausages. This is Scarbor

SATURDAY 6th August: Another scorcher

Too hot to walk again, I am afraid. So I went outside, while the mutts were snoozing, and took these.  As you can see, the snails got to the hosta in the end, and the ferns have done beautifully and are self seeding in the concrete cracks :).  And there are no more monsters down the side passage.  I intended to scrape out all the moss, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.  It makes the passage greener and less harshly concrete, doesn't it?  More natural.  I
