Sun 4th Jun: Foxy florals

Tara: Hi Aunties.  This is me standing on Cato, showing him who is boss.  (that's me.  being boss.  cos I'm on top) Aren't I awesomely Ninja? and this is after.  See how I am in front?  and all Bossy? but then he wants to have another go.  Like he actually thinks he stands a chance! Mum says you have to have a look at all these weeds.  Cos she says it just goes to show (something or other really dull MumInGardeningMode. Yawn). Cato used to do all

MONDAY 5th December: Foxy walk with Dad

Cato:  we were so excited about our new beds, that we forgot to tell you about our walk!  So Mum said we should do an extra blog specially.  I think it is a good idea cos, you know.  Leaf on face!!!!  hahahaha! So, this is before the leaf.  When we had just arrived.  And Tara woz doing her scouting thing (showing off for Dad, really)   And it was fun.  And sniffy.  And all the leafy stuff is on the ground now.  But I'm not sneezing and dripping and snuffling.  Have you n

TUESDAY 13th September: Steaky hotness

Mum:  Hottest September day here since 1911.  I kid you not.  Luckily I was stuck inside on the computer all day, but it was far too hot for lunchtime walkies.  So the little princess has been a bit restless (understatement) and the little prince has been very chilled and relaxed. Mr C developed a yearning for one of his huge steak-fests, so we went out to a steakhouse pub after work to sit outside in the evening sun, me drinking pints of water, Mr C drinking pints of Carling, dogs wistfull

TUESDAY 8th Mar: Sniffy Heaven

Cato: After last time, Mum decided we were going to do a street walk today.  Without Dad who has to go to work during our walks for days and days.  Mum says we will miss him, but will just have to manage. It was a nice walk.  Lots of sniffs, and no horrible forky lead.  Don't remind her, but I think she forgot!  Hehehe.  Of course it meant I could widdle in peace, and Tara wasn't pulling me over when I stood on 3 legs.  Actually, Tara was almost OK today.  Think that maybe she is feeli

SUNDAY 26th November: Busy Mum

Cato:  no walk!  and it wozn't even raining! But we did do stuff with Mum.  We aren't usually allowed in the understairs cupboard.  It is all sniffy in there.   Really interesting!   There are boxes.  And tools.  And the sniffy floor mop stuff.  And we got behind the bin.  We never get behind the bin! we helped Mum work on our new beds too.  We got sawdust on us when she used the buzzy saw.  We walked through the sawdust and trampled it EVERYWHERE.  We stood next to the crates so she could

SUNDAY 25th September: Sleepy Sunday

Mum: Absolutely nothing happened today (except for me doing holiday laundry! lol) Cato slept the day away, not interested in anything except for a few morsels of cooked chicken, which he ate from my hand.  He slept very well though, and his tummy seemed to have improved a lot. Tara slept the day away, sprawled beside me on the sofa.  Mind you, she WAS interested in food. We didn't go for a walk, and neither of them seemed to miss it.  Apparently we wore them both out with all

SUNDAY 11th December: Breakfast Thief!!!

Cato: Ooooh we had a lovely walk today, Aunties.  There was Auntie Jane, and sausage, and sun, and lots of friends!  Look! These are The Westies.  We don't know their names, but there was little miss pink collar, and bouncy blue collar.  They were very nice and friendly.  Miss pink collar wanted to play, and was very waggy. All the leaves have gone now. and the mud has arrived. This is where all the knickerprickles are lurking under the leaves, so Mum does

Thur 9th Mar: Big lake with Mum

Cato: This was an ACE sniffy windy walk. There were plastic bag monsters hanging in the hedge.  I saw them.  But Tara didn't.  Mum said they were safe, cos they couldn't get us.  And they didn't.  Silly monsters. There was lots of mud.  Tara liked that.  It has been too wet to walk down the Tunnel, Mum says.  So we had to mud puddle where we could find it. a sky pic.  Mum says they look like a pod of whales.  Wot is a pod? There were some lovely sniffs.  M

Tricksy Mum

Cato:  So Mum hasn't been blogging like she said she would, has she?  So I told her off.  She still needs to catch up lots and lots of adventures.  Including my terrible tum!!! But she says 'I can't blog every day, Cato.  No time.  But I am going to try and blog when I can.  And sometimes that means we may be able to do more than one blog in a day.  So that means we will catch up.' Humph. That just sounds like Mum is being tricksy, doesn't it?  I think she should bloggify every da

Fri 10th Nov 17: Yay! Town Park, flowers, pics n stuff

Cato: I have to blog this one Aunties, cos Tara is sulking.  She says there aren't enuff pics of her.  But I think there are more pics of her than me - and lots of pics of flowers.  But I mustn't complain, cos it meant Mum and her new camera and me and Tara and Dad all had a really nice walk. Mum says that everyone should notice the focus n stuff.  Just nod.  That is what I do.  It makes her happy. This was some very good sniffing.  And those leaves on the path are get

MON&TUE 12&13th December: weird goings on

Cato:   So today and yesterday have been WEIRD Aunties, and it has been very strange indeed.  I will tell you about our walks, and then about the weirdnesses.  Cos I don't don't think I like them. We went to Our Field yesterday, and did some running and fighting and bouncing.  See? This is at the top of the steps.  I was trying to decide if they were safe. We looked down the side, incase that was better.  But it wasn't. And then Tara pushed past me, and went do

Tue 24th Jan: A walk on the beach...

Tara: So we did boring after dark walks most of this week.  They are OK.  And very sniffy.  But some nights there woz something called Freezing Fog.  I don't like Freezing Fog.  It is weird.  The sound goes all strange and hollow, and the sniffs are clammy.  And you can't see much.  But at least we get a walk.  Even if it is only a short one cos of Wimpy Cato. Anyway, today we did Beach Stuff.  This is my First Sniff and Cato's First Widdle. and this is my Second Sniff and Ca

FRIDAY 18th November: Python Wars!!!

Tara:  Haha!  My turn today! We didn't walk today, cos of the cold slushy stuff, but that meant we got to kill the Pythons over and over again.  And play Tug o' Sausages!  And Fetch SuperMario, and Hunt the Lobster.  And I splatted Cato LOTS.  And I let him almost splat me a bit.  And I lay on my back waggling my legs while he pretended to rip my throat out.  And I Ninja'd everyone, including Mum.  She woz sitting on the floor with us, and waggling the Sausages for Tugging, and helping the

SUNDAY 6th Mar: Mum's Day

Mum: just to explain - today is Mother's Day in the UK.   Sidney: Mum usually does stuff on Sundays, so she gets up nice and early, puts down food and opens window.  Very satisfactory. Until today. This is at around 7 am This is around half an hour later. unfortunately, the Runt and the Brat are too stupid to realise how annoyed i am. there was some nonsense with a card and some chocolates.  I ignored it all for as long as i could, but had to l

MONDAY 6th June: 2nd day of strike action

Cato: Mum was doing her work thing all day, so we helped Dad clear more of the shed.  That is HARD work!  and it is hot in there.  Tara likes to jump up and go inside, and get in Dad's way, but I prefer to stay outside where it is cooler, and try and trip him up when he steps down. It was too hot to walk in Mum's lunchtime, so we sat on her on the sofa, and  chilled. Then we walked in the evening when it was cooller.  Just the usual Field, Cemetery and Slippy Road.  Mum thinks you

WEDNESDAY 23rd November: Soggy lake

Cato:   It was wetwetwet on Monday and Tuesday, so we didn't walk.  And by Wednesday, both Mum and me were really hoping we could get Tara's Bounce out of the house.  And we could!  it was still dark and grey and soggy, but we went to the big lake. This is right at the start.  Can you see the rain-puddle on the path?  Tara wouldn't walk through it!  ha! We only went round the lake once today.  and Mum said we had to stay on the path cos of the mud But it was still fun. A

THURSDAY 11th August: Short and hot

Cato: Tara is snoring, so I get to tell you about our walk in Foxy.  It wasn't a long walk, on account of being so hot.  And Tara was all bouncy, and rough, so we got worn out really quickly.  But Mum took some nice pics.  So here goes. This was an epic battle.  I scooted Tara up the bum to start with.  I knew what I was doing.  But she over-reacted a bit, I think. See what I mean? But then she let me up, so I scooted her again!  He he! and then we had a r

Fri 13th Jan: Grandma and Grandad's

Cato: I don't really like long car journeys, cos they take foreverandever, and I can't have a proper sleep.  It ends up being a snooze and all weird.  But this one wasn't too bad.  And we had a special chicken dinner which was FAB.  When we arrived, we were very bouncy cos it has been ages since we saw Grandma and Grandad.  It was all hot and sunny when all the roses were big.  And now it is cold and there was even some snow! Grandad said he would show us the dog field near his house, so of

WEDNESDAY 24th August: Work with Mum!!!

Cato: No pics today, cos Mum woz being prof- froff- proffessal.  She had to do a meet thing with her bosslady, but becos Mum works from home, Bosslady said 'let's go to the stinky coffeeplace.'  and Mum said 'Can Cato and Tara come and be veryveryvery good sitting under the table no-bother-at-all becos then we can walk there and back.' So we did. It was very, very boring.  They just jabbered and jabbered and jabbered about numbers.  And Tara was only a bit of a pest for attention.

WEDNESDAY 2nd Mar: Squishy and squelchy

Tara: We nearly didn't get a walk today!  It rained all morning, then cleared up, so we rushed out to the car and went to the Fox park - but as Mum and Dad were helping us out of the car (I can jump out myself, but I am not allowed ) it started to sleet!  I don't see sleet often, so it was exciting. Cato dashed off for a poo, otherwise Mum and Dad might have decided to go home WITHOUT A WALK!!! which would have been TERRIBLE!!! This is where Cato decided to poo.  And Dad pic

I am 5!!! (Cato's Birthday 13th May)

Cato: Mum says that it is my Special Once-In-A-Lifetime 5th Birthday Today.  And that I am a Little Hero. I love my Mum. This is me and Dad on my Special Birthday Dawn And this is Me and Tara on our Special Birthday Lie In Then Dad woke me up with my prezzie.  It is a NEW Angry Bird toy, and I chewed it and sucked it and humped the duvet with it in my mouth.  It was a lovely way to be woken up!  I love Dad. We went out to our Special Waggy Tails sau

WEDNESDAY 16th Mar: Sniffs and tunnels and scratches!

Cato: Foxy Park walk today!  Yay!  Cold and a bit windy but some sun too.  Dad could come with us, but kept talking about being starving so afterwards we had to drive through KFC and pick up some gorgeous sniffy chicken and stuff.  Then we came home and watched him eat.  I got a tiny bit.  Tara got a bigger bit.  And Mum got none.  Greenery and kwish stuff, she had.  Poor us! The walk was good though.  Mum wandered round saying 'there is nothing left to photograph!' so we found her the

SATURDAY 6th June: Swans, geese and AuntieSue

Cato: Today was a double adventure!  We met swans AND saw AuntieSue again.  AuntieSue is really snuggly, and is MUCH kinder than Mum.  Mum wouldn't pick me up when I got tired, but I bet I could have got AuntieSue to do it.  If Mum hadn't been there.   But at least it was nice and cool again. We had the swan adventure first, before AuntieSue arrived.  First we had an interesting sniff down by the water. Then Tara spotted a new green bit that we have never explored before.

TUESDAY 2nd August: Lake with Dad

Cato: Mum had lots of work stuff today, and Dad woz off work, so we took him to the big park.  It was fab and sniffy, and we showed him the donkeys and everything.   The donkeys were a long way away today.  We couldn't eat their poo unfortunately.   Tara kept trying to show off for the camera, but he didn't take many photos.   And he wandered off a bit, too.  We had to keep an eye on him.     Tara: I had to keep telling Dad to catc

TUESDAY 5th July: Surprise!

Cato: We had a FAB day!  It was going to be all wet and boring, but then Dad decided to visit Pops and Mam, which is GREAT, cos we went too, and had treats and fussing and fights on their hearth rug.  It was fun until it wasn't.  Why does Tara always go too far?  And then I mountaineered up Dad's leg to get away from her, and Dad helped to pull my tail out of her mouth, and then it was nice again. After that we went to Town Park, and Dad didn't do any boring flower stuff.  So that was
