THURSDAY 15th December: Car hunting is BORING

Cato: Oh Aunties.  It was such a boring day!  We got left alone TWICE!!! Once in the morning before breakfast, and then once in the afternoon, after breakfast.  It was very worrying.  But then Mum came and said she was sorry and walked with us to the Hot Choc place.  And we saw a CAT. But that was it.  The whole of the rest of the day was really nothing exciting. Tara says she doesn't like the new car, and she hasn't even met it yet.  She says that it doesn't have nice seats,

SUNDAY 18th December: Foxy bouncing

Tara:  So we didn't get a walk AT ALL yesterday.  Nothing.  It woz terrible.  so I had lotsandlotsandlots of BOUNCE stored up.  See? We met thousandsandthousandsandthousands of paws today.  So many I can't remember all their names.  But I remember their sniffs. Cato likes EVERYONE, doesn't he? I bounced on him so hard that his coat fell off!  hahaha!  and Mum had to carry it. There were whole flocks of paws around.  And some of them were REALLY OLD I decid

Mon 2nd Jan: Gull hunt!!!

Tara: We went to the rocky beach today! It was ACE!  We went in the car, and got all wet and salty, and chased birds and met Bess.  It was fantabulous. Look.  Mum said the green stuff was really slippery.  But that is just humans and their silly two foots.  Me and Cato didn't notice any slippiness. This is when I saw the beach, and was showing Mum.  It was very exciting! and this is the first big sticky out wooden thing.  We don't go out there, cos the sand is all s

Mon 16th Jan: Beach!

Mum: Just some pics today, no paw commentary (will explain in next entry). First we went to the station to check on something.   Then a trundle on the beach.  have a look at the sand.  Very smooth, isnt it?  That was the high tide storm surge we had.   There was a mad out beachcombing, and damage to some of the steps, and the water had reached the sea wall.  Oh, and the last pic is the front of the crazy golf course that we took some pics of a week or so ago.

Fri 14th Apr: Pack walk in Town Park

Cato: Today we went to Pops and Nana, and had chew sticks and cuddles, and Pops larffed at Tara's yellow bows. Then we went to walk in the Town Park with Mum and Dad so it was a proper pack walk.  Lots of boring flowers and not many pics of me and Tara, although there were lots and lots of sniffs too.  We met a few paws, including a very nice black Lab and some barky SausagePaws.  Mum says the light was bad, so you can't really see how nice the flowers were. These are the boring f

Sun 23rd Apr: More pink stuff and lots of friends

Cato: I have to bloggify.  We (Mum and me) just showed the pics to Tara, and she can't remember anything about this day, except that she got to squeak at William again.  She is completely dooolally over William.  That is a Mum word.  It means silly. It was very bright and sunny and green.  And there were lots of fried egg plants poking up through the grass. I would have preferred a real fried egg.   This is Tara doing her sniff thing. This is me

Holiday 5: Lanhydrock (aka cow poo day)

Cato: Hello Aunties.  Today I am blogging about some great big human den called Lanhydrock.  It was enormous.  And I was a bit tired.  We did a lotlotlot of walking on holiday, and I was worn out by this time.  I mean, I do love sniffing, but all this hot walking and sun and new places and Tara bouncing is very tiring. Mum says that Lanhydrock is so humungously enormous that it has its own park, with cows and sheep that poo all over the place.  There was horse poo too, I am sure of it,

Holiday 6: Looe and Polperro

Tara: My turn!  I wore my Rainbow Bows again today, cos Mum says I am a dippy hippy rainbow child.  Can you get rainbow Ninja?  I like that idea. So today Mum draggled us all the way to somewhere called Looe.  She spend lots of holidays in Looe when she woz a pup, cos her Grandpa's family come from Looe. This is where we parked.  It is called the Millpool carpark, and Mum knew the tricksy shortcuts to get to the interesting sniffy bits. This is the sea.  Paws aren't all

Holiday 7: Golitha Falls

Cato: It was very exciting.  First we went to an old Cornish slate mine.  Me and Tara were only allowed in the first big cave, and we had to be carried.  Tara got mud all over Dad's jacket.  Haha!  And it was all wet and drippy.  Then Mum and Tara and me had a drink while Dad did the thousandsandthousands of steps down to the other caves and the underground lake.  Wish we could have gone, but there were No Paws down there. Dad said that the life of a Cornish slate miner was horrible cr

Walk stuff

Tara: My turn!  Cato has been hogging the blogging lately, so I get to tell you all how awesome I am.  And wot fun we had.  and stuff like that.  And there are more skypics for AuntieCrystal too. This bloggification is about 2 different walks, cos that is how clever I am!  I can do two walks at once! This is when we went the Big Lake Park, and Mum accidentally picced all the wrong things.  She picced birds and flowers and Cato and all the boring stuff.  But there isn't a single pi

Aunties, it isn't right!

Cato: You know how much we love Mum and Dad.  We do!  And we love walking and sniffing and snuggling and wrestling with pythons and EVERYTHING.  So we are happy.   We are. But... we used to do more walks.  Back when Mum was taking dictation and me and Tara were blogging every day, it was HARD work! But we got to go out all the time, and went to interesting sniffy places.  Different every day.  And it was hot and sunny and nice.  And muddy and fun. For ages and ages and ages we hav

Horrble Mum Stuff

Cato: Oh Aunties!  It was awful. usually when Mum stops her Work Stuff at lunchtime, we have a nice sniffy walk.  I thought we were going to have TWO walks today, cos Dad took us for breakfast at the Sausage Place.  So I was getting all waggy excited and thinking about that lamp post on the corner that needs A LOT of sniffing. But then lunchtime comes, and Mum GRABS me!  And she carries me through to the grooming table!  And she does footsie torture!  No walk!  No sniffing!  There

Mum's Day

Hello Aunties! It is Mother's Day here, so me and Dad and Tara put our Thinking Hats on and decided wot to get for Mum on her day. So we got her some chocolates.  Dad says I have to tell you the were expensive and posh chocolates by somebody called Lindt, so that you know we love Mum very very much.  And Mum likes chocolate.  So that is OK. And then we got me... er... Mum a new cushion.  It has a picture of a very sexy babe on it.  And I chose it specially.  I like Mum'

Puggy Toy and back scratching

Tara: My Dad loves me, and I love my Dad. When we were on holiday, he understood that I needed someone to Bounce on, and that Jasmine wasn't around to be Bounced on.  So he got me a pretend Jasmine I could use instead.  We named her Puggy.  She is the wrong colour, and she is wearing a red jumper, which Jasmine doesn't do.  But she was easy to kill, and didn't run off like Jasmine does. I wanted to Bounce on Cato.  He liked scritching and scratching his back on the carp

WEDNESDAY 3rd Feb: Breakfast and beach

Tara: Mum didn't do her boring work thing today, and Dad wasn't doing his boring work thing til later, so we went out for breakfast sausages.  This is where they ate, and we sat under the table, like always.  The floor is very clean, which is a pity. I always hope for some dropped food, but there never is.  We then go outside, and just before we go onto the beach, Dad gets out his napkin and we sit-ever-so-good  and we get chuncks of sausage.  Then we have the strength to go and

FRIDAY 12th Feb: Cherry blossom

Cato: Very exciting day!  We went to the Small Park (with the green fox's bum) and Mum did her usual boring picture stuff.  And Tara did her usual silly bench climbing.  And we met Auntie Carol!  She is the Auntie who runs the puppy classes that both Tara and I went to when we were really really little.  And I got really excited to see her, and ran around play-bowing and wagging my butt off.  She picked me up and snuggled me, and remembered me too!  No picture of her though, because of some

WEDNESDAY 17th Feb: No walk :(

Sidney: My window was opened for half the morning then closed when it started to rain.  So I couldn't smell the rain. Then it was opened for half the evening, after the rain had stopped. That was bearable. And we had a nice ear rub, purr and cuddle in the big bed last evening, and I got the middle spot, as always. However, I noticed that they were looking at holiday cottages on the computer last night.  And train schedules.    Tara: No Walk!  It was too we

SUNDAY 21st Feb: Sand dunes

Sidney:    The shed roof is peeling worse and worse.  Of course, i always said it would be a complete disaster.  So reassuring to be always right, isn't it?   Once i am trapped in prison, I won't be able to monitor the deterioration, will I? 2 days before they abandon me.   Cato:       We went to the Sand Dune beach today.  Haven't been there in ages. we walk along the dune path, then turn round and walk back along the beach.  But we only go in good weather.  Mum took u

MONDAY 22nd Feb: Spring ping pong

Sidney: 8am:   10am:   Nuff said!   Cato: So Mum took us back to the Fox Park specially to check on the cherry blossom, and there was hardly any!  The daffs are nearly out, and a few other sprootles were sprootling, but nothing exciting. Mum says that the cold winds last week have set everything back, but at least the buds weren't blasted by the frosts.  Me and Dad don't know what that means, but she was chuntering about it. We are ge

SUNDAY 28th Feb: Aunty Jane Day!

Cato: down to cafe for breakfast sausage, only it was very windy and cold.  It was warm at the house, and cold at the cafe.  We woz both shivering, even tho Mum got our bed out of the car for us.  Mum says we should have our coats kept in the car for next time, just in case. remember that pic of our car with the netting put up by dad? well this is the netting put up by Mum.  Much safer.  Tara hasn't wriggled through since! not many pics today cos Mum and Aunty Jane were

TUESDAY 1st Mar: Rain and repairs

Mum: Just one photo today.  It is self explanatory. What you may not be able to see is that it is pouring with rain.  Most of the day. can you SEE how desperate Tara is, to get up that ladder? I didn't walk them today, because of work/internet/hassle/issues that I had to work on.  So Dad took them down to the beach (on foot) in a brief dry spell, and treated himself to a cuppa in the nice beach cafe. They came home WILDLY excited, and full of stories and thrills an

SATURDAY 5th Mar: Two walk day!!! Yippee!!!

Sidney: I shall start today, because Mum specially took some pictures to show you how beautiful I am.  I permitted it, because I do not think that dogs should take centre stage in anything, even a blog. So this is me, first thing this morning.  I am not sleepy.  I am blinking slowly and lovingly at Mum, because I want her to open the window.  She slept in til 9 this morning.  I had been very patient.  The big green lump is Dad.  Very useful as a pillow and foot rest. THURSDAY 17th Mar: Awesome spring lake

Tara: Sidney has fleas again!  Sidney has fleas!  And I don't.  And Cato doesn't!  So Sidney has been treated, and Mum says we may escape, but if we do get fleas it will ALL be Sidney's fault!  Hahahahaha!!!   Cato: Mum finished work early today, so we got a really good walk!  And a picnic in the car.  It was ACE.  She took lots of boring pics of plants and stuff, and very few of us, so you might get a bit bored.  But she gets all waggy tailed when the weather is nice and the

MONDAY 21st Mar: Foxy park daffys

Cato:   Foxy park today!  Mum keeps taking us there hoping for this big cherry blossom thing, but really, it ain't that special.  And it is too high to reach to sniff! it was nice and sunny though.  And the daffys are out.  We always sniff them, cos they smell interesting. see how i am trampling the yellow bit?  Brings out the sniffiness. Mum also took photos of little purple things.  But the most interesting bit was the Foxy Hole.  Mr Foxy is definitely liv

FRIDAY 8th Apr: Foxy walk with Dad

Tara: Mum still feeble and coughing, so we went walking at Foxy Park with Dad.  But still a bit tired after yesterday's mega walk with Aunty Kim, so only went round once. But we made sure Dad stopped at My bench and gave us treats.  We woz fading away with exhaustion by then! And Cato got muddy foots!  Hahahaha! Mum says she is looking forward to walking with us tomorrow, and maybe we will go out for breakfast sausages too!  Can't wait!!!  It has been far too long w
