After last time, Mum decided we were going to do a street walk today. Without Dad who has to go to work during our walks for days and days. Mum says we will miss him, but will just have to manage.

Oh Aunties what a Glorious Monday I had!! See Monday's are Trash Days and I dunno but mommy musta timed our walk super special cuz the trash truck was going by!! I Love the Trash Truck! I usually just get to bark at it from my window but sometimes I get to see it on our walk! That's Extra special cuz on top of the bird poop droppings in the road I also have trash truck droppings!! And there's Always droppings going up our hill!!What a smorgasbord of sniffs I had today!! I was super drooling all

Yesterday we had Blunderer Max, and poor Tara had a hard time. She may be 110% bounce, but is rather intimidated by anything her size or bigger, and does a submissive roll to nearly every dog she meets. Tara kept me between her and him for the entire walk, and was particularly nervy. I really don't ever want to have a social walk with MAx or his owner ever again.

I shall start today, because Mum specially took some pictures to show you how beautiful I am. I permitted it, because I do not think that dogs should take centre stage in anything, even a blog.
So this is me, first thing this morning. I am not sleepy. I am blinking slowly and lovingly at Mum, because I want her to open the window. She slept in til 9 this morning. I had been very patient. The big green lump is Dad. Very useful as a pillow and foot rest.

It was sunny! Feels like we haven't seen any sun for days. So we rested all morning, then went out with Mum and Dad for a walk at the big lake. Mum put her foot down (in a puddle) and said we couldn't go Off Path, cos of all the recent rain. Humans are wimps, aren't they? So we only walked round the lake, but it was still a good sniff.
There was so much rain that all the mud has slipped into the water and made it brown. See?

We nearly didn't get a walk today! It rained all morning, then cleared up, so we rushed out to the car and went to the Fox park - but as Mum and Dad were helping us out of the car (I can jump out myself, but I am not allowed ) it started to sleet!
I don't see sleet often, so it was exciting.
Cato dashed off for a poo, otherwise Mum and Dad might have decided to go home WITHOUT A WALK!!! which would have been TERRIBLE!!!

Yesterday, we had an ice storm followed by about a half-inch of snow. You don't know the meaning of "fun" until you have to clean the windows of a car that's encased in ice 3 times in a row - once to get the DH and I to the Dr. for our annual physicals, once when I left to go home and check on the puppies, and yet again to go pick him up. Fortunately, by the time I went to get him things were switching-over to snow so I didn't have to deal with MORE ice forming on the windshield while d

I didn't walk them today, because of work/internet/hassle/issues that I had to work on. So Dad took them down to the beach (on foot) in a brief dry spell, and treated himself to a cuppa in the nice beach cafe.

Mum says Leaping Day only comes round every 4 years. So Tara has been doing her best to fit 4 years of Leaping into one.

down to cafe for breakfast sausage, only it was very windy and cold. It was warm at the house, and cold at the cafe. We woz both shivering, even tho Mum got our bed out of the car for us. Mum says we should have our coats kept in the car for next time, just in case.

They were very annoying last night. They shut my window earlier than I wanted, and they put a donut bed on the big bed. Mum says that it is so I dirty the donut not her sheets. How insulting is that? As if I wasn't spotless. Anyway, they put the donut between their pillows. So it is in an acceptable position. But I still wandered about and stood on Dad's sensitive bits in the middle of the night. Well, I have to, don't I?

Very tired today, and got a bit worried seeing all the packing up this morning. But we slept in the car, and when we woke up, we were home!
Checked everything out, had a widdle and a calcium bone, and then went straight back to sleep. Only problem is that Mum has wasted ages on the computer, instead of providing lap services in the front room. Hope it doesn't mean we will miss out on brushing, later!

Mommy has been threatening to give me a bath and another haircut. My last cut was 4 weeks ago and Mommy wanted to keep it short..
